Elements of branding

Branding is more than just a logo.
What is a brand identity?

  • Logo – can be applied to different mediums
  • Visual Identity – Colours, typeface etc.
  • Tone of voice – Chatty or official, the way in which the audience perceives you
  • Name
  • Strap line – the slogan or strap line can help to show the ethos

Effective branding is vital in a competitive marketplace. A strong and well designed brand can help the audience understand what you do. It helps them to remember the brand.
